Great carrier for city and travel
This is a great carrier, I use it as my main one. We live in the city in a small apartment and don’t drive, so keeping our baby gear compact and lightweight is a must. I use it for quick errands and as a backup if our baby gets fussy in the stroller. It’s also great for travel, my baby sleeps easily in it, and I like that I can keep it bucked around my waist but tucked into the attached pocket so it’s ready to go.

Comfortable padded compact carrier
I own several different carriers but find myself reaching for my Ergobaby Away carrier quite frequently since I got it. It’s lightweight while still well padded in the waist and shoulders, making it comfortable to carry my 22lb baby. The backpack-style straps make it super easy to get on and off. Also outer material is nylon, which is easy to clean and won’t ripe easily
It folds up easily into itself to be worn as a sling bag or in a small pouch. I will note that the instructions on how to fold the carrier into a sling aren’t super clear (at least to myself), so while I was able to make it work, I’m sure there are better ways to do so.
It’s worth noting that this carrier can only be used from about 4 months up, as there isn’t any way to adjust the seat for newborns. And it can only be used front facing inwards and for back carries – it can’t be used for front-facing outwards (which isn’t healthy for the hips for long periods of time anyway).
Overall a great carrier to stash in your car, stroller, or have around the house. I generously received this carrier as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
